Cab Bonus 2021
Radiotaxi 02.8585 reports that the service starts in Milan. bonus cab 2021 through BuoniviaggioMI, an App developed by Telepass, which taxi drivers will be able to join by giving users the opportunity to use the public car service with a coverage of 50 percent of the amount of the ride up to a maximum of 20.00 euros.
If, for example, the amount of the ride is €55.00, the value of the bonus is the maximum value under the initiative, i.e. €20.00, so the ride will cost the passenger only €35.00.
If the amount, on the other hand, is below the €40.00 threshold, the value of the bonus will be exactly 50% of the value of the ride, so on a ride with a value of €16.00, a 50% bonus equivalent to €8.00 will be applied.
Targeted to the neediest groups
The cab bonus, intended for citizens in economic and/or motor difficulties, is already available to those eligible, upon registration on the website of the City of Milan.
How to apply for the travel voucher ?
For the service to be usable, it is necessary for taxi drivers to download the App to their cell phones so that, when making the concessionary ride, they can scan their Health Card or manually enter the beneficiary citizen's Tax Identification Number and, subsequently, the cost of the ride.
The system automatically calculates the fee charged to the citizen, who will make the immediate payment while the remainder will be credited directly to the taxi driver by the City of Milan.
The intent is on the part of Taxi and the Municipality to replicate by improving on the previous Bonus Taxi 2020 initiative, where more than 40,000 vouchers were used by 13,000 citizens who were able to get around safely.
An integral part of the initiative, Radiotaxi 02.8585 guarantees its users a fleet of cars periodically sanitized on site with, upon request, the possibility of protective dividers.
Are you a taxi driver and want to join this initiative of the City of Milan?
The City of Milan has made an app available to taxi drivers who wish to take part in this initiative so that they can manage this type of payment and thus accept vouchers from Milanese users: the app is called BuoniviaggioMI.
To be able to accept vouchers from the municipality, all you have to do is download the app, according to your device, and enter your Taxi license, accompanied by your tax code, a contact and finally your IBAN code so that you can cash in the value corresponding to the vouchers cashed in.
Finally, remember that the passenger on board will see the amount of the ride reduced by 50%, up to 20 euros, the excess will be paid directly on board as with all other rides.
