Leadership meeting of LegaCoop Lombardy - Guest Attilio Fontana

Hosted in the beautiful event space of what is in fact the old rectory of the Basilica of San Carpoforo (now the Brera International Center), an important meeting of the Executive Board of LegaCoop Lombardy was held in recent days that saw a truly massive participatory presence from the top management of the Lombard cooperative world.

Guest speaker at the event was Lombardy Region President Attilio Fontana , who actually opened the proceedings with a speech that hinged on the issue of regional autonomy, an autonomy that would give an absolute boost to Lombardy itself.

Sitting next to Attilio Dadda, longtime president of LegaCoop, Fontana stressed the importance of that cooperativism marked not only in generating profits but also, and above all, in addressing issues related to local labor and product quality.

Cab service and Coops 4.0

Speaking of public cab service, we cannot forget that we at 8585 are also a cooperative that shares the values that underlie cooperation between workers and members, while also using the latest technology, such as apps, for example our InTaxi, today the most widely used app in Italy in the Taxi sector, and other state-of-the-art calling systems. This technological advancement focuses on the quality and punctuality of service provided to our valued customers.

We want to suggest an interesting concept: the Coop 4.0. This new idea of a cooperative is no longer based exclusively on a leftist tradition, but is also open to a more inclusive and pluralistic political orientation. Members may come from different perspectives, but they share the goal of a broader vision for the future.

"Regardless of the dress everyone wears, working together we can really make this region of ours fly": thoughts and words of President Fontana who,

addressed to what is the representation of the second-largest region in Italy in terms of cooperative density (right after Tuscany), seem more like a sincere opening rather than a much simpler sound bite.
