"L'Ottocinque" is the first Radiotaxi born in Europe and, to date, the largest Radiotaxi Cooperative in all of northern Italy.
Born in 1960 at the height of the economic boom, effectively modernizing an "old" public car service and laying the foundation for what would later become today's Radiotaxis, Radiotaxi 02.8585 has gone through all the major historical moments of our Metropolis as a protagonist, ranging from the social changes of "68," to the 1970s of the oil and factory crisis, to the stock market business in the drinking 80s to the 1990s of political scandals and generational change at the top.
The beginning of the new millennium has seen us still "running" along with the New Economy, its subsequent crisis until the rebirth and international showcase of Expo 2015 and the consecration of these very last periods, remaining the reference point of Meneghina mobility and of all that vast territory comprising Airports of fundamental importance such as Varese Malpensa, Bergamo Orio al Serio and Milan Linate, a territory called the Lombardy Airport Basin.
We are the first Cooperative in Europe that guarantees electronic payment service to its customers.With 8585, upon request, it will be easy to find a cab that guarantees payment by credit card, as each of our vehicles is equipped with POS enabled for electronic payment.

To date, Radiotaxi 02.8585 is a technologically advanced reality in all its sectors where, from a beginning made of a pioneering corded telephone and a few cars in green and black colors (which later gave way to the very famous yellow color), it now has a fleet of more than 1900 ultra-modern white cabs, ranging from the ecological cars Toyotas, Kias, Hondas, and Teslas, to the most elegant Mercedes, and many modern Station Wagons and MPVs, as well as, of course, vehicles dedicated to transporting people with disabilities, and vehicles adaptable to all the most varied needs that Business and modern life impose: at the time of the request, it will be enough to specify your type of need to have, with a very short waiting time, the car that suits you sourced as close as possible to your call point.

A modern call center
Over the years, we have managed to implement our already modern call center with 21 new computerized stations for receiving phone calls by implementing them with the most modern satellite search systems capable of dialoging with Telephone Calling Systems, GPS, App., Web, Whatsapp, SMS and Modem/Pos.
Also, with our InTaxi app we offer customers a unique booking experience, being able to see cabs on the move on the map, pay without the use of cash and without having to enter pins or authorizations directly through the app, save their favorite addresses and rate the ride to help us improve every day, in the same spirit that has brought us to this day.
New payment systems
Last but not least, we have ferried the use of cash with the use of ultramodern subscription and payment systems such as Satispay and App., to the point of being the only Radiotaxi service to have equipped all its cab drivers, with pos for the acceptance of all credit cards.
And for those who book through the InTaxi app, there is an opportunity to evaluate the ride, give us insights on how to improve our service.
More than 1,200 call points
Through business agreements, partnerships and the work of our customer relations, sales and service department we manage over 1200 call points scattered throughout Milan.
Restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, clinics, and corporations are just a few of the facilities that use our modern, Wi-Fi and 3G-based call modems that allow you to hail a cab, even selecting the desired features, with a simple click on the number pad or touch screen display.
In a few seconds, the modem will issue a receipt telling the arrival time of our white cab and the initials of the cab.
Our modems are a classy and convenient choice for companies, corporations and all those public and private places that often need cab service, and with a simple gesture they can request it, at no extra cost.

In 2010, Radiotaxi 02.8585 and its Members/Taxists were awarded by the City of Milan with the Certificate of Civic Merit in recognition of the 'commitment to the city and its people who over the years, have been able to take advantage of its professionalism and services. A special and well-deserved motion goes out to all the cab drivers who over these 60 years of history have taken turns in giving service at our beautiful reality, a reality constituted, built and sustained over time by generations of true "artists of the wheel," men who live by driving those streets daily, where the life of our Milan passes.
Thanks to our users, whether new or loyal, we continue day after day our growth and improvement of our services, giving operational coverage over the territory of Milan and province, including the Lombard airports of Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio with non-stop service 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
Always with an eye on the environment
02.8585 invests in environmental sustainability in which it boasts of a car fleet, consisting of every type of car in which 80 % is "Green" with a predominance of Toyota and Honda hybrid models that are recently joined by the new Tesla latest generation all-electric models.
In the advancement of this policy, i.e., sustaining the planet with the use of low-impact cars with the substantial reduction of pollution, particulate matter and CO2, also occurs with the use of the remaining fleet consisting of Euro 6 low-polluting cars.

02.8585 places as a priority, in this era of substantial climate changes affecting the surrounding environment, the emphasis on the effects that exhaust gases create on environmental impact. By virtue of this, Our Cooperative has for years supported and incentivized, through conventions suitable for dedicated discounts, its "Taxi Members" to be more careful in choosing their cars.
Raising awareness, to this new "Green" way of thinking, is one of the flagships of Autoradiotaxis 028585 not only as a transformation but also as a new "mindset" of community thinking, taken as a commitment to the Territory.
