Conventional use cab fare
The cab fare in Milan has an initial base that differs according to the day of the week (holiday or weekday) and the application or non-application of the night fare, in particular:

There is a minimum fare of €16.00 for cabs departing from Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio airports.

Collective-use cab fare
The meters are also programmed for collective use of the service.
The fare is activated upon the user's request at the beginning of the ride, for a minimum of three people united by an identical departure and arrival point on the same route.
Each user pays only the amount indicated by the taximeter, excluding highway tolls. The initial cost of the service differs between:
- Weekday daytime: € 1.64
- Daytime holiday: €2.64
- Night: € 3.16
There is a minimum fare of €6.40 for cabs departing from Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio airports.

Application of the fixed fare requires the taxi driver to choose the appropriate route to reach the destination. Any request for intermediate stops or stopovers or request for route changes will cause the application of the fixed fare to lapse.

When does the cab meter turn on ?
The taximeter must be operated by the taxi driver when the ride begins.
